The Best American Infographics series debuted in October of 2013, with a volume introduced by David Byrne. Known as the force behind Talking Heads and later as creator of the highly-regarded record label Luaka Bop, Byrne has published and exhibited visual art for more than a decade. His latest book, How Music Works, was published by McSweeney’s. The Best American Infographics is a part of the acclaimed Best American series.
